Xray Texture Pack 1.17.1 – 1.16.5: Night Vision and the Hidden Ores

We’re all familiar with the Minecraft X-Ray mod, which allows players to see ores and mineral blocks through solid surfaces. This is an extremely helpful tool for those of us who spend hours mining without success. However, X-Ray texture packs (such as Xray texture pack 1.17.1) offer a similar experience without mods at all! X-Ray Ultimate Resource Pack 1.17.1, 1.16.5 for Minecraft – for all of those who need it can be installed by downloading Optifine and then following the instructions in this article (more detailed instructions are available on the Xray Texture Pack website). Once you’ve installed Optifine and downloaded X-Ray Texture Pack’s latest version from there.

How to install X-Ray Ultimate Resource Pack:

Requires: Optifine HD

1. Download the X-Ray Ultimate texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just pick the one that you like or that you think your PC can handle
2. Launch the game client through the Minecraft launcher.
3. On the main menu, click “Options”.
4. On the options menu, click “Resource Packs…”.
5. Click on “Open Resource Pack Folder”. – folder titled “resourcepacks” will pop up
6. Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step to the newly opened “resourcepacks” folder.
7. Click “Done”.
8. Click on “Resource Packs…” again.
9. Your pack should have appeared in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
10. Click “Done” again.
11. The pack has now been successfully loaded and ready to be used in your world!
